Thank you to all who attended the AGM on Wednesday evening. The minutes are detailed below:
- All officers re-elected. No one put their name forward for any position and no one voted against any officer being relected.
- Balance sheet was presented to members
- Relationship with Winsford Anglers will terminate at the end of this river season March 15th 2024
- Membership fee unchanged at £35 for 2024/25 season
- Membership renewal & intake process will remain the same
- Membership numbers will increase from 250 to 275 to take account of reduced number following termination of the agreement with Winsford Anglers. No votes against
- The requirement to see more engagment during work parties was raised. We want to see more people get involved with the running of the club, particularly in bank work during the closed season.
- Secretary presented details about continued work to secure EA grants for new pegs. This will result in new pegs being commissioned in the new tax year 2024/25
