2024/25 Membership

The waiting list for 2024/25 membership is now closed. Anyone wanting to join the waiting list will be added to the list for 2025/26. Please don’t email with requests to join the club for 2025/26 until after the start of the season on June 16th.

If you have paid your renewal rest assured you will receive your membership permit in early May. Anyone who who has not renewed for 2024/25 but still would like to, you must contact me ASAP on info@shrewsburyanglersclub.co.uk.

After I have processed all the renewal payments I will invite anglers on the waiting list to make up the numbers to 275. Once all payments have been processed and we have a full membership I will print and mail all the permits and you should recieve them in early May, ready for the new season starting on June 16th.

2024/25 Membership Renewals

Existing members have been invited to renew their membership for the 2024/25 season, starting on June 16th 2024. Members have until March 15th 2024 to renew. After that date any member wishing to renew will have to join the back of the waiting list.  Existing members have been sent a text message and, for those members for whom we have an email address, an email detailing the club account information and how to pay. It is important to remember to include your membership number as the payment reference when making an online payment.

As agreed at the 2023 AGM, this year our membership has increased from 250 to 275. After the renewal cut off date, the number of places left will be filled by anglers on the waiting list. Currently, we have almost 100 new anglers wanting to join the club, so space will be scarce this year. The best way to guarantee your membership for the new season is to renew before March 15th.

Last year 190 members renewed their membership, thats over 75% retention and testiment to the quality of the fishing this club has to offer. We very much look forward to welcoming existing members back to the club for 2024/25.
