Shelton

The Shelton section is a large sweeping inside bank of a 180 degree right hand bend in the river, upstream of Shrewsbury town. The fishery is deep but shallows up to a beach section at the north apex of the bend. This section is perfectly suited to waggler fishing in the winter. Feeder fishing to the far bank, with bread or pellets, will produce Barbel and Chub in the summer months.
